About Us
Lake View Primitives is a small, family-owned and
operated business, located in Colonial East Brookfield,
Massachusetts. Our setting is a 1778 antique colonial, which
is situated on one-and-a-half acres of land overlooking
a beautiful lake. This historic home served as an inn in
the late 1800s and was known as The Lake View House, which
has given us our name. It is a wonderful setting in which
to create the designs that are offered to you by Lake View
Primitives.

We take pride in using American-made products and
are committed to keeping this business in our local community.
All of our patterns and kits are designed, produced, and
packaged right here in the heart of New England. Our hand-dyed
wool is dyed in our own kitchens in small batches to produce
the most beautifully mottled colors. Family members and
a few close neighbors work carefully together to see that
all of our customers are satisfied. We make several trips
to the Post Office each day and try to ship all orders within
24-48 hours because we know that you are excited when you
place an order and watch the mail until it arrives. How
nice to be pleasantly surprised by a package that arrives
the next day or the day after!!!

Whether you are just browsing – or shopping
for patterns to create something that brings the warmth
and beauty of primitive art into your home – or even
planning to put your hands to work for your local craft
fair - we hope you enjoy visiting our New England home and
experiencing the warmth and charm of our Colonial setting
and our offerings to you.
Thank you for visiting Lake View Primitives.
